Valerii Churkin is a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning international economics, software development, and military leadership. He holds degrees in International Economic Relations from Zaporizhzhia National Technical University, Software Development from “Shah” Computer Academy, and a recent specialization in Weapons Systems Development from the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy National University. Valerii began his career in international trade and logistics, holding key roles in several Ukrainian companies before transitioning to software development as a sole proprietor in 2017.

Since the onset of Russia’s invasion in 2022, Major Churkin has served with distinction in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Rising through the ranks from Acting Platoon Commander to Commander of Military Unit A4753, he has played a critical role in mobilization, planning, and leadership. His service has been recognized with the “For Exemplary Service” and “Golden Trident” badges from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. He brings a unique perspective shaped by his multidisciplinary expertise and frontline experience in national defense.
