Michael Hush is the Chief Scientific Officer at Q-CTRL, a cutting-edge scale-up quantum technology company. Under his leadership, Q-CTRL has developed world-leading quantum infrastructure software that delivers new navigation capabilities through ruggedized quantum sensors.

Michael's work at Q-CTRL focuses on accelerating the pathway to quantum computing advantage and enhancing the robustness of quantum sensors. His team recently launched the world's first quantum-assured navigation system for GPS-denied and limited environments, Ironstone Opal. Michael has also spearheaded collaborations with the Australian Department of Defence, Lockheed Martin, and the UK Ministry of Defence.
