Established in 1958, Vision Engineering is an experienced British specialist in ergonomic microscopy, metrology and high definition digital 3D displays. For the first time at DSEI Japan we present Deep Reality Viewer (DRV), an innovative digital 3D full high definition microscope and display – THE glasses-free 3D FHD stereoscopic display in the defence and geospatial imaging sector. By removing the need for polarised glasses and ensuring that the left and right optical channels are delivered independently to the user’s eyes, DRV delivers a bright and clear image. DRV delivers a unique high quality combination of image clarity, brightness, consistency, ease of use and operator comfort. Uniquely, DRV’s 3D full high definition image can be viewed locally, and/or streamed live to other remote users. DSEI Japan really played its part in helping the Japanese government win a successful contract with the Australian navy for 6.5 billion Australian frigate programme. The meetings and the live demonstrations held at the show were vital for the final bid's success.
