The Spanish Association of Defence, Security, Aeronautics and Space Technology Companies (TEDAE) brings together 100 companies covering the design, development and production chain of Aerospace, Security and Defence systems, for their commercialisation and maintenance. These include prime contractors and system suppliers, together with small, highly specialised companies. Spanish Defence, Security, Aeronautics and Space companies contributed to 1.3% of the national GDP and generated more than 65,680 direct jobs with high technical qualifications. Their turnover exceeded 13,900 million euros, of which 8.5% went to R&D&I activities and 59% corresponded to exports (data from 2023). TEDAE represents and promotes its associates nationally and internationally, especially at European level, through the ASD (Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe), recognised by the European Union as the main interlocutor and representative of the industry. TEDAE is the gateway to the Aerospace, Security and Defence sectors in Spain.
