佐藤太郎は、株式会社センチネル・スペース・アライアンスの代表取締役であり、日本の宇宙および防衛分野を代表する有識者の一人です。防衛大学校を卒業後、防衛省において作戦・戦略・政策の中核的な役職を歴任しました。直前には、内閣府宇宙開発戦略推進事務局の安全保障宇宙政策担当企画官を務め、日本初の宇宙安全保障戦略イニシアチブ「宇宙安全保障構想」の策定を主導しました。
日本および米国の教育機関における高度な学位と専門的な軍事教育を背景に、現在は宇宙安全保障における国際協力と官民連携の推進に取り組んでいます。センチネル・スペース・アライアンスを通じて、佐藤は現在、日本および海外の機関に対して、宇宙・防衛分野における戦略策定、政策連携、事業開発の支援を行っており、国境を越えた協力とイノベーションの促進に貢献しています。

Colonel (Ret.) Taro Sato is the President of Sentinel Space Alliance Inc. and a leading figure in Japan’s space and defense sectors. A graduate of Japan’s National Defense Academy, he served in key operational, strategic, and policy roles within the Ministry of Defense. He later became Counselor for Security Space Policy at Japan’s National Space Policy Secretariat of the Cabinet Office, where he led the development of the Space Security Initiative—Japan’s first strategic framework for identifying critical security space capabilities and integrating civil, commercial and national security efforts. With advanced degrees and professional military education from institutions in Japan and the U.S., Sato now champions international collaboration and public-private partnerships in space security. Through Sentinel Space Alliance, he currently supports both Japanese and international entities with strategic planning, policy engagement, and business development in the evolving space and defense landscape, helping to foster cross-border cooperation and innovation
