IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR INTERNATIONAL VISITORS & EXHIBITORS:

From October 2022, all visitors will be able to travel to Japan without restrictions. Currently, the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs grants visa waivers/exemptions to approximately 60 countries that have special agreements with Japan. If you are not from one of these countries, you will need to contact the Embassy of Japan or the nearest Consulate of Japan in your home country.

As part of the visa application process, you may be required to submit a Letter of Invitation from Crisis International.

A Letter of Invitation is an official document allowing you to travel to Japan to attend and participate in the DSEI Japan 2023. In other words, it provides the holder with an official reason to come to Japan.

In order to qualify for a Letter of Invitation, you must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be an Exhibitor OR have an approved status as a Visitor (Click here to apply)
  • A verifiable email address from an institution (.edu, .org, .ac) is required. We are unable to accept a personal address (gmail, yahoo, hotmail, etc.).

Crisis International will not, under any circumstances, provide a Letter of Invitation or visa application paperwork to any interested party who does not meet the criteria listed above. If your application for a Letter of Invitation is successful, your Letter of Invitation will be sent to you by email as a PDF attachment.

  • Turnaround time: 7 days business day

  • Deadline: 1st March

  • We will not re coordinating with embassies nor foreign affairs
  • Turnaround times for visa applications vary by country countries so please ensure you have enough time (Typically 1-6 weeks) - This is outside of our control.
  • We are unable to contact your embassy on your behalf as we can not be your guarantor.
  • Visitor / Exhibitor reg open until March 8th final deadlines
