1989年東京大学法学部卒業。その後、旧日本輸出入銀行、オメルベニーアンドマイヤーズLLPニューヨーク事務所、スウィドラー・ベルリン・シェレフ・フリードマンLLPニューヨーク事務所、ビンガムマカッチェンLLP・同外国法事務弁護士事務所、グリーンバーグ・トロ―リックLLP・同外国法事務弁護士事務所、西村あさひ法律事務所の勤務を経て、2017年渥美坂井法律事務所・外国法共同事業に参画する。

これまで、経済産業省海外事業者との投資提携の定着に関する調査委員、経済産業省対内直接投資研究会委員、（一社）サイバーリスク情報センター監事等をつとめる。

After graduating from the University of Tokyo (LL.B.) in 1989, Mr. Hashimoto had professional experiences at the Japan Bank for International Cooperation (then known as Export-Import Bank of Japan), New York Offices of O'Melveny & Myers LLP and Swidler Berlin Shereff Friedman LLP, New York and Tokyo Offices of Bingham McCutchen LLP, Tokyo Offices of Greenberg Traurig LLP and Nishimura & Asahi, and has joined Atsumi & Sakai in 2017.

Mr. Hashimoto is also a member of the Committees on Establishing Investment Tie-ups with Overseas Investors and Direct Inward Investment Study Forum at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and the standing auditor at the Cyber Risk Information Center.
